A lunch club for ambulant older people who can make their way to and from the Pentland Community Centre.
Lunch and a blether is available Tuesday - Thursday, 11:45am - 1:00pm, for a small charge.
Pentland Lunch Club offers a cooked two course lunch, tea and biscuits.
The Club is open to any older or disabled person living in Oxgangs or surrounding areas, providing that it is booked in advance.
The fee gets you a two course meal as well as free tea, biscuits and juice.
Unfortunately, due to funding restrictions, transport cannot currently be provided.
Pentland Lunch Club is organised and run by Oxgangs Care who are a locally based voluntary organisation and a charitable company limited by guarantee. They provide direct help and support through a range of services to isolated, vulnerable and disadvantaged people living in Oxgangs and surrounding areas. It is governed by a Board of Directors made up of local residents and service users.
