Our Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) Accredited Training. Whether you’re an individual looking to gain the right skills and qualifications to move into a professional role, or an organisation who would like to run their own cooking programmes we have the right course for you.

Please note that the following course is not free to access however you can apply for funding via the Individual Training Account (ITA) via My World of Work (https://www.myworldofwork.co.uk)

Elementary Food Hygiene (e-learning)...

£65 + VAT per person

6 hours of self-directed learning online with telephone, email and/or Zoom support available as needed from our REHIS accredited trainer. This is followed by a short multiple choice exam conducted either in person or remotely via Zoom.

This course is available throughout the year at a date and time suitable to you.

Course details...

A one day course for anyone working in catering or the provision of meals. The course outlines good practice for food handlers to implement in the work place and is a nationally recognised qualification.

The course will cover:

- Basic bacteria
- Food poisoning
- Personal hygiene
- Working environment
- Cleaning practices
- Pest control
- Basic legislation
