The EVOC Red Book

The online directory to find third sector Organisations, and their services across Edinburgh

IMPORTANT

Directory of local groups/projects who are offering specific support during the current COVID-19 pandemic »

In line with Government advice, most groups and organisations in the city have had to take the unfortunate decision to suspend face to face and group work activities. Please telephone or email the contacts listed for the group or organisation if you are interested in their work to check what alternative arrangements might be available or to find out about alternative groups or services in your area.

Group is run by a trained PEEP Practitioner.

The Learning Together programme supports all parents to create the best start for their children by making the most of everyday learning opportunities – listening, talking, playing, singing and sharing stories and books. Spending time with their parents and carers in these ways helps children become confident communicators and active learners. PEEP's focus is on children learning alongside their parents/carers.

The PEEP programme consists of many different types of activities, to do at home or during PEEP groups or sessions.

(PEEP) - Parents Early Education Partnership - was set up in 1995 to work with parents and carers to enhance their children's learning and development from birth, improving their life chances.)

Family Peep

Is for parents/carers and children under 3 years old to learn and play together. Group is informal, comfortable welcoming and supportive. We sing songs, play, read and tell stories and sometimes we offer activities like hand and foot printing and messy play. There's always an opportunity to chat about what's great and what's difficult about being a parent.

Free, fun activities for babies and toddlers that are actually the first steps to early literacy and numeracy, boosting communication skills while doing messy play!

Suitable for 0 - 3 year olds and their parents/carers.
