We provide iPad training to families helped by Family Fund who are raising disabled and seriously ill children.

We’ve teamed up with our Apple Distinguished Educator to unlock your child’s creativity and learn more about what their iPad can do through free virtual sessions.

There are 10 free sessions to choose from. Mix and match to choose the sessions that suit your child’s creativity; you can do one, or all of them:

Your first movie - Learn how to make a short film using a few photos around your home or where you live.

Create a documentary – Explore a topic by researching and collecting facts and images to help create a short documentary.

Picture your name - Using your iPad camera, look for shapes to make up the letters of your name and edit them.

Drawing skills - Budding artists can create their very own emoji using a free app called Tayasui Sketches School.

Photos my way - Add creativity to your photos using the tools on your photo app. You can add colour, illustrations and turn it into a piece of art.

Send flowers - Create your own personalised flowery greetings card, add a voice recording to make the message extra special for someone.

First steps in music production - Future chart toppers or DJs can learn about loops and putting pieces of music together using Garageband.

Photo tour - Move around your house or garden finding objects to photograph of your favourite colour, or maybe a rainbow for keyworkers!

Building Apps - Plan and develop an idea to build a prototype of an App to test.

Bringing stories to life - Telling stories is much more exciting when you can bring the characters to life through augmented reality
with AR Makr.

Book your session now. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

You will need an internet connection, your iPad and a second device like a smartphone or a laptop to take part.

The sessions will be run in small groups, children must be supervised by an adult family member at all times during the session - so, if, for any reason, your family is unable to participate in this way but you would still like to take part please email digitalskills@familyfund.org.uk and we will look at an alternative.
