The organisation registered as PHAB in 1957 and became a company limited by guarantee in 1991. The aim was to bring together physically disabled and able-bodied young people through inclusive youth clubs. Fifty-five clubs were established throughout Scotland, part of 500 across the UK. Following a strategic review in 1999, the organisation widened its remit to work with people of all ages and abilities, and changed its name to reflect this - FABB Scotland.
Today FABB Scotland involves people of all ages and abilities, and aims to facilitate inclusion through the provision of specific opportunities and creating links to mainstream services.
Fabb Scotland is a charitable company that exists to facilitate inclusion for people with disabilities to actively engage in social, leisure, educational and vocational activities of their choice.
Fabb Scotland works with people of all ages and abilities both in Edinburgh and across Scotland.
Fabb Scotland works with mainstream services to encourage inclusiveness and develop opportunities for people with disabilities to access services.
