We are a growing contemporary church in Edinburgh. Our journey began in 1998 in a flat in the city centre, and we now welcome hundreds of people from different age groups, cultures and backgrounds to our Sunday gatherings. We're an Edinburgh church that seeks to authentically love God and practically love all people.
Our Leith venue was built as a Turkish bath in the mid 19th century, before being converted into a cinema. We’re told it has one of the last remaining plaster cinema screens in Europe, and Smith Wigglesworth and other renowned preachers have ministered here since it’s been used as a church building. The Leith venue is a historic building with a contemporary yet homely feel.
People of all ages and backgrounds make Destiny Church in Leith their home, and they are passionate about reaching and helping others to find life in Christ.
