No-one thinks of themselves as ‘hard to reach’ and sometimes it’s a convenient catch all phrase.
For one reason or another:
- Not all children, young people and families use health services
- Children, young people and families may experience difficulties when they do use health services
- Not all children, young people and families know their health rights.
Our Hard to Reach Service aims to ensure that we are easier to reach and better placed to know the barriers which prevent some children, young people and families accessing health services or achieving their child health rights.
