DESCRIPTION
We are a family-friendly, evangelical congregation situated in the Marchmont/Grange area in Edinburgh.
The folk who come along to St. Catherine’s are from all different walks of life. We are mostly working age or active retired. We have links with Edinburgh University as some of our members teach or study there. We enjoy welcoming students and have some international students with us most weeks.
We are a welcoming, worshipful community, not afraid of diversity, difference and open discussion. We are committed to reaching out to the communities we are placed in and linked to. We aim, with the Holy Spirit’s help, to keep Christ at the centre of church life and encourage others to join us in following him.
On Wednesday evenings we gather to pray for our community, church and also different situations in the world. We have links with a number of partners living and serving abroad and support their ministry financially and in prayer. This is a key part of our life together as a congregation.
