information SERVICE DETAILS

We offer access to some of the latest technology to assist in neurological rehabilitation. Boost your physical abilities by trying out our cutting edge rehabilitation equipment.

Our physiotherapists work with clients to develop a tailored plan, specific to their situation.

AlterG Treadmill...

On the AlterG Treadmill air pressure supports from below to give a sense of weightlessness, allowing you to offset your bodyweight by up to 90%!

This helps to control movement and strengthened weakened limbs and allows a physiotherapist to reduce a body-weight load in precise increments, ideal for exercising in a safe and controlled environment.

If any of the following apply conditions apply, the treadmill will help.

- Legs are heavy and effortful to move.
- Difficulty balancing
- Afraid of falling
- Fitness and stamina are limited due to the above points.
- Pain in the hips/knees/ankles that limits walking.
- Recovering from hip/knee/ankle surgery.
- Would like to feel the freedom of walking on air!

Funded by Jeanette Russell Fundraising Campaign
