St Catherine's 50+ Group is a small community group that provides day care for older adults one day a week.

In November 2000 Libertus was asked to undertake the management and co-ordination of St Catherine's 50+ Group. Libertus helps with fundraising, supplies, and referrals and uses its position to advocate on behalf of the group.

This service provides a valuable service for older people in the community who have a range of dementing illnesses and age-related infirmities.

The client users of this group enjoy social activities including games, reminiscence, puzzles, guest speakers, bingo etc. A two course hot lunch and transport to and from the centre is also provided.
