When you are struggling with a personal issue, whatever it is, we know it can be tough to reach out for help. You might want to speak to someone but are nervous about looking for face-to-face support.
LGBT Health provide a free and confidential helpline, where you can access support, information and advice.
The helpline is supported by trained, friendly staff and volunteers who are happy to listen. The volunteers have years of experience supporting gay and bisexual men. In addition, they have experience of working with men who do not identify as gay or bisexual, but who would like to explore their attraction to other men.
You can talk to the helpline team about anything that’s on your mind, from issues around sexuality, coming out, and sexual health to simply getting something off your chest.
The helpline is open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:00pm-9:00pm. Just call 0300 123 2523. You can also email the Helpline at helpline@lgbthealth.org.uk.
Calls to the helpline will cost you the same as calls to local landline numbers, and are included in call allowances you may have either on a mobile or landline. If you’d like to know more about the service check out LGBT Health’s website.
