information SERVICE DETAILS

We offer culturally appropriate, practical support, information, advice, resources, guidance and specific one-to-one emotional support for people of African heritage living with or affected by chronic health conditions through peer led support that is delivered by highly trained and experienced, knowledgeable support workers and mentors who work in a professional manner and have completed nationally recognised training.

All of our support staff, volunteer listeners and mentors are friendly, discreet, non judgmental, highly experienced and skilled, they are knowledgeable, work in a professional manner, have completed nationally recognised training, are culturally aware of diverse backgrounds and identities and because of this, are therefore culturally competent to bring forth a productive and effective working method that integrates cultural experiences and intersecting identities into a faith sensitive, culturally informed and culturally specific one to one mental and emotional support service that suits. This service is available in several languages.

If you would like to talk to us about your diagnosis or how you’re experiencing living with chronic health, pleas get in touch.
