We have 2 halls available for regular hire by community groups. If you are interested the first thing to do is check the diary at https://www.grantonchurch.org.uk/hall-bookings to find a suitable slot.

Note that we are not able to hire halls for one-off events such as parties, except in certain situations (e.g. celebration following a church event such as baptism or wedding).

East Hall...

The East Hall is the larger of the 2 halls, measuring approx 16.5m x 8.5m. The East Hall is accessed by group leaders via the main West Door but group participants are asked to use the dedicated East Hall door which opens onto the grounds overlooking the shops.

- Current Capacity: 35 active, 50 seated
- Facilities: Large hall, tables + chairs, storage cupboards
- Primary Purposes: Large and versatile space that can be adapted to multiple purposes & available for community lets

Cost to hire

£15 non-commercial, £20 commercial, (6 hour day rate)

West Hall...

The West Hall is the smaller of the 2 halls, measuring approx 13m x 6.5m. The West Hall is accessed via the main West Door which opens into the quadrangle overlooking Wardieburn Street East.

- Current Capacity: 20 active, 30 seated
- Facilities: Small hall, tables + chairs, clothing rails
- Primary Purposes: Permanent home of the Share ‘n’ Wear & an ideal space for events based around food (close to the kitchen, less echoey than the East Hall)

Cost to hire

£15 non-commercial, £20 commercial (6 hour day rate)

Session Room/Creche...

- Current Capacity: 15 spaces together
- Facilities: Toys, Chairs, Attached Toilet, warm all year round due to radiators
- Primary Purposes: Creche Room which can be easily made available to families & a Meeting Room that can be used year-round

Cost to hire

£10 non-commercial, £15 commercial (6 hour day rate)

Sanctuary...

- Current Capacity: 60 in seats, 25 in coffee area
- Facilities: Seating, sound system, broadcasting, projector, Coffee area (Kitchenette + children’s space), main entrance
- Primary Purposes: The Sanctuary is our primary area for worship. Any activities that happen in the Sanctuary must be respectful of it's role as a sacred space.

Cost to hire

£30 (6 hour day rate)

Kitchen...

- Current Capacity: 5
- Facilities: Fully stocked Kitchen
- Primary Purposes: Facilities to prepare meals & provide Tea & Coffee for smaller groups

Free with let (still need to book for availability)

Current rates...

We have different rates for commercial and not for profit groups. The not-for-profit rate applies if the group leader is an unpaid volunteer and receives no personal payment for the activity.

Note: rates are reviewed annually in August and any changes are effective from 1st January each year.
