What is it?

Third Party Reporting is another way of reporting a hate crime.

A Hate Crime is understood to be a crime motivated by malice and ill-will towards a social group because of their actual or perceived:

- Race, colour, ethnic origin, nationality or national origins
- Disability
- Transgender identity
- Religion or faith
- Sexual orientation

Third Party Reporting also means you can go somewhere you feel safe, talk to someone you trust and report a hate crime without contacting the Police directly.

How do I report a HATE CRIME?

SCOREscotland is a third party reporting centre. Reporting a hate crime couldn’t be easier.

You can phone us on 0131 442 2341 and our staff will be happy to help.

If you don’t want to speak to anyone you can also fill in a short form online to report it directly to the Police https://www.scotland.police.uk/secureforms/hate-crime.
