DESCRIPTION
The Portobello Monday Centre was set up by the Council of Churches in Portobello. It is now run independently as a voluntary organisation by volunteers.
The Portobello Monday Centre is for people suffering from mild to moderate dementia in the Portobello area. The project offers dementia-sufferers the opportunity to get out of the house and meet others and, at the same time, provides a few hours respite for their carers.
