HF Edinburgh

We are a small, friendly and unpretentious walking club based in Edinburgh.

Our members have a wide range of experience. Some have completed all the Munros (Scottish mountains over 914m) and are returning to these for their umpteenth time, while others have no such ambitions.

We always welcome and encourage new walkers of all ages and abilities.

Walks are scheduled for most Sundays whatever the weather, rain, snow or shine.

Transport is provided using members' cars and the fuel costs are shared equally.

You might also want to bring along some 'spend' for a possible coffee stop on the outward trip and a pub visit on the journey home, as well as a change of clothes.
