Hand Up Events (HUE) is a social action business that promotes and platforms fair & ethical trade through events: concerts, fashion shows, conferences and festivals.
Events such as Fair Trade Fiesta, The Ethical Christmas Fair, fashionABLE and Fair & Ethical Trade on the Fringe are funded through profit realised from our market style events and that attract international exhibitors from all around the world. Trade is a sustainable economic mechanism for people to lift themselves out of poverty and through fair trade means protecting producers working conditions, also supporting highly skilled artisans and in turn their wider communities.
Hand Up Events are connected with organisations & business around the globe, we seek to continuing and developing these lifelong relationships.
We also provide platforms for local talent through our sister company LocalMotive Markets.
