We are now providing a Parent Information Point for any parent who would like to find out information about parenting and local services.
If you are a parent or look after a child we can:
- Direct you to parenting programmes and groups
- Offer advice and support on looking after children from 0-16 years
- Provide information on local services and activities
We will be happy to share ideas about play opportunities through PlayTalkRead, PEEP groups (Parents Early Education Partnership) and the Play@Home programme.
We have information about what's on in the local area as well as on a range of things affecting families such as mental health issues, lone parenting, disability, finance and childcare.
As well as information about Home-Start, we can provide details of other agencies who can offer more specialist advice and support if necessary.
