Many people living with long term conditions find it difficult to access appropriate mainstream exercise and fitness classes and as a result, are unable to remain healthy and manage their condition.
KICC Active Lothian is an on-going project. We are facilitating the establishment of accessible, self-management community based exercise programmes in Lothian.
EASE INTO EXERCISE
Ease yourself into exercise with this circuits class, designed to build strength and stamina and get the heart rate up. There will be about ten stations set up around the room each with a different exercise to work on arms, legs, balance, and co-ordination. It's fun and challenging and you can work at the level you prefer with each exercise.
Ease into Exercise is a joint partnership between KICC Active Lothian, Pilton Community Health Partnership and Spartans Community Football Academy.
